The Bir Zeit Society is an international philanthropic organization dedicated to the betterment of Bir Zeit, Palestine and Bir Zeit University. With over 600 members in Canada and the United States and with more worldwide, the Bir Zeit Society for the last 10 years has been assisting in policy and community development through the efforts of Bir Zeit natives and descendants worldwide.

The Michigan Summit on Africa was formed in 1999 as a statewide organization of persons concerned about Africa. It was initiated by a committee of Michiganians who attended the Midwest Summit on Africa in September 1998, a project of the National Summit on Africa.
Palestine Aid Society (PAS) is a non-profit organization founded in 1978 with the following objectives: to provide financial and political support to the Palestinian people in the West Bank, Gaza Strip, and the refugee camps in Lebanon; to preserve an independent Palestinian identity with the Palestinian-American community through cultural and educational activities; and to promote a greater understanding among the American people of the Palestinian struggle for self determination and national independence.
