Aim of the program
The objective of the program is to provide such complementary skills – relying on the previously acquired IT and management knowledge – that enable students to manage efficiently information resources in various organization in the competitive or public sector.
Description
Based on solid theoretical knowledge both in IT and business the program covers all the areas where an IT manager can come across with information systems. The program integrates management, controlling and accounting with IT related competencies: managing information as strategic resource, information strategy planning, system design and development, IT project management, application integration, business intelligence, process management, IT security and IT service management and IT audit. Key enterprise applications, major e-business and e-government technologies, internationally accepted methodologies and standards, like ITIL, COBIT, etc. are also addressed. On-line e-learning tools, collaborative solutions will be intensively used, facilitating the involvement of collaborating international partners.

Career prospects/ Job opportunities: Based on the competencies developed by the program students can be appropriate candidates for IT manager positions in public or private organizations, they can work as experts of special fields in large IT units, or they can be employed by IT related consulting companies.
