This program has been designed to enable participants to understand how marketing creates value for the firm, to be able to draft marketing plans, and to master the functional processes of marketing. Participants receive comprehensive marketing knowledge as well as the opportunity to specialize in different areas. This master program is offered in a full-time, two-year format.
The Program
Based on the realization that functional divisions are becoming blurred and silo-thinking creates only limited value, the Corvinus Marketing MSc offers the opportunity to benefit from the full range of joint core subjects shared with other master programs including managerial courses in quantitative methods, business economics, leadership, managerial accounting, corporate finance, business law and marketing management. In the past this core knowledge helped our school to maintain leadership in the market, and we believe in the value of continuing this tradition.
The Marketing Master offers foundation courses including marketing research, marketing communication, consumption theory and marketing strategy. An additional two subjects can be selected from product and branding policy, distribution system, intercultural marketing, supply chain management and value creation processes.
Participants can select from three specializations: marketing strategy, consumer behaviour, and business communications. These specializations offer leading-edge, up-to-date theoretical knowledge and practical applications.
Teaching Methods
The Marketing MSc aims at achieving a fine balance between practice and theory. Class sizes are appropriate for the master level, and education incorporates interactive learning methods. The master program relies heavily on case studies, on computer simulations and on other forms of student activities. Participants often work on real-life projects and are sought after by leading companies.
The Marketing and Media Institute
The Marketing and Media Institute (MMI) faculty has been involved in English education for more than 20 years. It has designed and built its curriculum in cooperation with leading universities and schools both in Europe and in the U.S. The breadth and depth of the curriculum are products of the diversity of the faculty. Among the 25 full-time faculty members, many are actively participating in research and teaching with leading universities in multiple countries on several continents.
The institute greatly benefits from the existence of its Advisory Board. We are proud to be able to attract leaders from different industries representing world-class international and local companies.
Obviously no program can be successful without attracting a motivated, ambitious and knowledgeable student body. Until now Corvinus marketing master students have won multiple awards in national competitions and have represented the university in team case study competitions around the world.
The International Dimension
